TeamViewer Frontline and SAP Service and Asset Manager Integration

TeamViewer Frontline is an SAP Endorsed Augmented Reality platform that integrates with many SAP solutions including SAP FSM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) etc.

Multiple estimates indicate that frontline workers—who make up around 80% of the global workforce—generally account for just 1% of their organisations’ technology spending. This version comes with the following enhancements:

  • Support for multiple context-sensitive workflows triggered from SAP Service and Asset Manager. For example, if you have one workflow for inspecting an electricity transformer and another for inspecting an electricity pole, both workflows will now be visible within the SAP Service and Asset Manager app – displayed automatically based on the equipment associated with the Work Order.

  • Data like Measurements Points is now integrated with the SAP backend – this enables read-only access to reference values such as upper and lower limits, while newly captured measurement readings are automatically written back to the SAP S/4HANA system for accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping.

  • Notes and images captured during the hands-free workflow are now stored in the SAP S/4HANA system – they are automatically synced and saved to ensure comprehensive documentation within the SAP backend.
