myJobCard for Industry 4.0: digitised asset maintenance checklists and mobile-enabled SAP PM – Our Customer Success Story.
We recently partnered with a leading car manufacturer’s South African Team, providing them with the ODS native mobile enterprise solution myJobCard. They had been using the SAP Plant Maintenance module, but they were not able to capture all their data in SAP due to inadequate user experience and system limitations. They were still heavily reliant on paper-based systems which meant that data had to be manually entered.
They were looking for a new way of streamlining their asset maintenance processes and going paper-free in a way that would empower their workforce while making them more efficient.
They also wanted to enable supervisors to be with their teams on the factory floor and to access all required maintenance statuses on tablet devices. myJobCard turned out to be the perfect match for the client who expressed their appreciation for On Device Solutions in the following words.

On Device Solutions worked on the implementation with the South African team. With myJobCard, over 800 asset maintenance paper forms were digitised.
Additionally, with myJobCard’s form engine, technicians can now simply complete forms on their Android mobile devices – the data is fed directly into SAP and stored in a structured way.
Our solution has already been rolled out to over 70 staff members. There are plans to continue the rollout further.
