Deploying an Enterprise Mobility solution does not have to be complicated, or involve expensive customisation, as one of our customers, Tamouh Group recently discovered. Tafawuq Facility Management, who are part of the Tamouh Group, were one of our first customers and manage a number of high-profile buildings including malls and royal palaces in the middle east.
Mansoor Ali Khan, Group IT Director at Tamouh Group, recently shared their experience of deploying myJobCard for their facilities management business. He attributed success of the deployment to the out-of-the-box, plug-and-play nature of myJobCard – a mobile work and asset management solution for SAP.
Mansoor and his team had spent 18 months exploring a solution including searching online and spending time on the SAP app store. After a lot of time evaluating solutions, they found the perfect fit in myJobCard. Key attributes which made them choose myJobCard were:
- Out of the box integration with SAP Plant Maintenance and Customer Service module.
- Quick deployment in matter of weeks.
- SAP certified solution.
- Dynamic Form engine to enable in field quotation, payments and customer feedback.

One of their main goals was working towards the UAE’s green and paperless city standards and moving to a paperless system. As myJobCard was rolled out to 200 technicians who were printing a lot of orders, they were day-to-day generating a lot of waste. With myJobCard all these technicians were able to move to zero paper.
The On Device Team were able to digitise 5 key business processes which were.
- Reactive maintenance: e.g. breakdowns
- Corrective maintenance: where the identifier of the issue is the technician
- Preventative maintenance
- Ad-hoc maintenance including in the field quotations
- Inspection process: A quality assurance system
By digitising these systems Tafawuq were able to maximise output and increase productivity by 30-35%.
Mansoor reflected:
