The project, delivered in just 16 weeks, equips OQ warehouses with state-of-the-art barcode scanning technology and mobile-enabled inventory management systems allowing improved inventory stock takes and planning, enhanced data accuracy, and a transition to a paperless warehouse.
The technology updates installed by the certified SAP Partner allow OQ a real-time view of their inventory, ensuring mission-critical parts are always available when needed.
SAP Inventory Manager on SAP Cloud Platform covers inbound and outbound stock, mobile printing, stock count, and internal warehouse processes.
A critical improvement is the integration of Mobile Printing with SAP. This means barcode labels can be printed in bulk, allowing the use of barcode scanning technology, in turn enabling routine inventory count checks. The update vastly improves warehouse efficiencies, allowing the OQ management team and other stakeholders an accurate real-time view of their inventory. Crucially, it improves inventory data, meaning inventory can be kept moving and allowing easier and better stock planning.

The services have initially been installed in one OQ warehouse with plans in place for the sophisticated systems to be rolled out across further locations.
